An unusual course offered for Hungarian students along the Niraj River. Miercurea Nirajului’s City Hall, the “Deák Farkas” Primary School and Novák Csaba Zoltán senators office from Miercurea Nicajului organized a Romanian communication camp. Between 25-29th of June there are participating 24 schools with Hungarian language teaching.
DAHR Senator, Mr. Novák Csaba Zoltán declares that it is a program currently in the experimental phase, initiated by DAHR, a specialty program for learning Romanian language and using it in practice, with the purpose of learning the daily language, such as presentation, relations with relatives, formulation of official documents, basic themes in connection with transport or personal life.
“For a long time, DAHR has proposed using a specific curriculum for teaching the Romanian language and literature for minority students, a program that focuses mainly on the practical part of the language – also advocated by the law. If this camp becomes successful, will be extended to other Hungarian regions. “- said Novák Csaba Zoltán.
Primary School “Deák Farkas” offered the space for this camp, and the educational program and courses are provided by Szőcs Imre, the “Bolyai Farkas” theoretical high school teacher.
The mayor of Miercurea Nirajului, Tóth Sándor, declared that the most important is the use of the Romanian language in practice and the support of young Hungarians to teach them.
At the end of the camp, Friday at 11 o’clock, the organizers will present their conclusions.
