There are hundreds of Russian and Chinese intelligence agencies in Brussels, warned the Internal Security Division of the European External Action Service, according to EU diplomats quoted in the weekend of the German daily Die Welt.
According to Die Welt, the SEAE estimates the number of Russian spies, 200, and about 250 Chinese spies in the European capital, according to DPA, quoted by Agerpres.
European diplomats are cautioned to avoid certain places, including a restaurant and a café near the main building of the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
Russian and Chinese agents are mainly employed at the embassies and trade missions of their countries, according to Die Welt.
