The first survey conducted jointly in Romania and the United States, “Romania and America in the Centenary, reciprocal mirrors”, was conducted by Inscop Research – Romania and The Polling Company – USA. The collaboration between the two countries through which it offers mutual support in conducting sociological studies both in Romania and other countries in the region as well as in the United States of America.At the same time, the two companies collaborate to develop a set of innovative methodologies developed in the US that can be applied on the Romanian and regional market.
The poll was conducted between October 12-23, 2018. The sample volume was 1050 people. The sample is representative of the non-institutionalized population of Romania aged 18 years and over 18 years. The maximum permissible error of the data is ± 3% at a confidence level of 95%
The method used was that of the opinion poll based on a questionnaire applied by the interviewers at the respondents’ home. The questionnaires were applied in all counties of Romania and in the sectors of Bucharest. The sample was validated on the basis of the official data of the National Institute of Statistics.
