This file was opened at the NAD after several requests for referral, especially to the permanent electoral election authorities, regarding electoral campaign funding, both for local and parliamentary elections.
The financial inspectors from the Permanent Electoral Authority checked some of the sums received by the SRU in the election campaign. It was about three months of financial control that took place at SRU. We look forward to seeing the conclusions of the anti-corruption prosecutors.
“It appears that the NAD investigates what the judges have already decided on in two cases concerning both parliamentary and local funding. We demanded all the money from the permanent electoral authority, not all the money had been reimbursed. And the judges also wrote in black on white that the online donations received by SRU are legal and that we have to repay all our money. This is a fact. The NAD investigation came as a result of political complaints and statements by political rivals, “said Ionut Moşteanu, vice president of the SRU.
